The Viamar company announced an additional departure of the Río Las Casas catamaran, scheduled for the luneMay 5th 2025, with mass transportation service.
Boarding and departure times from Isla and Batabanó
Passengers traveling on this additional departure must arrive at the La Isla boarding agency at 5:30 a.m. for check-in. The catamaran will depart at 8:00 a.m.
Those boarding from Batabanó should arrive at the checkpoint at 26th and Zoológico at 7:00 a.m. Departure from that port is scheduled for approximately 1:00 p.m.
Pickup by public buses in several towns
From La Isla, public buses will be available to facilitate passenger transportation from the towns of Argelia, La Victoria, and La Demajagua at 5:00 a.m. In the case of the town of Santa Fe, pickup will be at 5:30 a.m.
Please note that, according to current guidance from the shipping company Viamar, each passenger may only carry up to 20 kilograms of luggage.
Ticket sales for trips in June
The Viajero company also reported on sales for the luneMay 5th, available 30 days in advance through their agencies or via the Viajando mobile app. Tickets on sale cover Sunday, May 1st anduneJune 2nd.
For Sunday, June 1, the following are included:
Ferry departure Perseverance
Departure of the train to Santiago de Cuba
Return train from Bayamo-Manzanillo
While for the luneOn June 2nd, the following will be available:
Departure of the train to Holguín
Return from Guantanamo
Buses with all the destinations corresponding to those two days
