This week, Cuban Collective Law Firms, especially their specialized services (BES), updated the process for requesting civil status and criminal record documents for Cuban residents abroad.
If you live abroad, you should know that you have the opportunity to request documents issued by the Civil Registry of any Cuban province, as well as Criminal Record Certificates from the Central Registry of Sanctioned Persons.
This procedure is valid regardless of where you are, and the documents will be effective outside of Cuba, once requested, indicated the Collective Law Firms in Villa Clara, through a publication in Facebook. But the service is offered equally in any province of the country.
According to this information, the service is offered through the Specialized Services Law Firm (BES), a Villa Clara branch, in this case.
Requesting documents at law firms for Cuban residents abroad
The service is formalized through a contract sent by email. To complete the process, payment must be made through an international payment gateway. It is important to note that, before requesting the documents, their availability is verified in the Ministry of Justice's Automated System (MINJUS).
This is how the request for several documents is made through Collective Law Firms, for Cubans living abroad, a request that is made from outside, without leaving home, according to them.
In addition, applicants can opt to have their documents legalized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MINREX) and, if required, by the Spanish Consulate in Cuba. It should be noted that the service does not include mailing documents to the applicant.
For more information, interested parties can contact the following email address: [email protected], in the case of Villa Clara. In the case of other provinces, you can request contacts through the law firms in your area.

Good afternoon. Once a criminal record check has been requested for a Cuban resident abroad, how can the document be guaranteed to be sent if they state that this service is not included? What should the interested party do? Thank you very much. I look forward to your response, as you always have.
