Following the spread of the novel coronavirus and the border closures of several European countries, the Consulate of the Kingdom of the Netherlands (which includes the Netherlands) has suspended all services in Cuba, including visa applications, from March 18 to April 6. It has not yet been ruled out that this deadline could be extended if conditions in Europe do not improve.
The statement was shared in Spanish and English on the official Facebook page of the Dutch Embassy. Due to its importance, we are sharing it in its entirety.

Cases of people with COVID-19 have been reported in both Cuba and Jamaica, and their respective governments have taken measures to control the spread of the disease. In addition, the Embassy is implementing the strict measures of the Dutch government, such as limiting social contact.
The Embassy is closely monitoring the situation in Cuba and Jamaica. We ask people to follow the instructions of local authorities.
