Are you a fan of Japanese culture and its animated manga? Maybe you can win this contest launched this week by the Japanese Embassy in Havana for Cubans and spend a week exploring the Japanese capital, all expenses paid. At least four people would be invited. Let us know.
According to the information released, the aim of the contest in question is to "spread MANGA culture abroad and promote international cultural exchanges through MANGA."
A Gold Award will be given to the best manga work, a Silver Award to three excellent works, and a Bronze Award to 11 other works. The Gold and Silver Award winners will be invited to Japan for approximately seven days for the awards ceremony.
Eligible MANGA works must be composed of more than 16 pages.
Both published and unpublished works may be submitted, excluding those that
have won previous International Manga Awards in Japan. To be eligible, they must have been produced within the last three years. They must be submitted in electronic (PDF) or printed format.
MANGA COMPETITION FOR CUBANS
They add that only one work will be accepted from each artist, and the deadline for submitting works is from April 14 to July 7. If you send your work by post to the Japanese Embassy, you must do so with sufficient notice to ensure that it is received. arrival before the deadline.

After the first round of selection by the Japanese Publishers Association
of Manga, the Selection Committee of the 17th International MANGA Award of Japan
