Family reunification visa to Spain 

To apply for a family reunification visa in Spain, you must submit the following documents: A properly completed and signed national visa application form. A recent, color photograph with a visible face and a clear background, suitable for passport-sized photos.

The original passport, with at least two blank pages and a minimum validity of four months from the estimated date of entry to Spain. A copy of the page or pages containing personal information must also be provided.

The initial authorization for family reunification, issued by the corresponding entity in Spain for the applicant's benefit. Both the original and a copy must be submitted. The applicant's residence card must also be provided, along with a certified copy.

Documents verifying the family relationship with the applicant (marriage certificate, civil partnership registration, birth certificate, etc.). Both the original and a copy must be submitted.

A criminal record certificate, which proves that the applicant has no criminal record in their country of origin or in the countries where they have resided during the last five years. Both the original and a copy must be submitted.

A medical certificate confirming that the applicant does not suffer from any illness that could pose a risk to public health. Both the original and a copy must be provided.

The applicant's current ID card or residence card. Both the original and a copy must be provided.

If the applicant is a minor, the parent, guardian, or legal representative's ID and the document proving representation must be submitted. Both the original and a copy must be submitted.

  1. Hello, I'd like to know why you have to wait until you're 65. You should reconsider this age issue; there are other, more important aspects to consider as limitations.

  2. Good, it's a good option, but I think the mother's age should be evaluated if she depends on the children who live in Spain. I don't see any logic in her having to be over 65 years old. Could you clarify that doubt for me? Thank you.
