In recent weeks, discontent over the new mobile service prices in Cuba has been evident. Prices remain unchanged on some plans
Etecsa announced that its voice plans will maintain their previous prices. This means that the rates for minute packages remain the same:
- 5 minutes for 37.50 CUP
- 10 minutes for 72.50 CUP
- 15 minutes for 105.00 CUP
- 25 minutes for 162.50 CUP
- 40 minutes for 250.00 CUP
The company reminded that these plans can be purchased in national currency (CUP) through three channels: the Transfermóvil app, the Online Services on its website, and commercial offices throughout the country.
A way to save principal balance
Etecsa emphasized that using these plans allows you to save on your cell phone's main balance, which tends to run out quickly with per-second rates.
By purchasing these packages, users avoid this direct consumption and can better plan their calls.
Through the hashtag #EtecsaConCuba, the company seeks to reinforce its image of customer service, although complaints about other rates—such as mobile data—continue to be a source of tension.

What really bothers me is the restriction that you can only top up 360 pesos per month. Not 500 or 600, not 1000, just 360. That's ridiculous and incredibly disrespectful.
Please come up with a solution to this conflict you've created to annoy the people who study, work, and defend their country. If you're incompetent at resolving this dilemma, then give the position to people who are gifted.
It's incredible how they increasingly abuse Cubans. The state itself is destroying the people. Don't be scared if another June 11th happens again. How is it possible that you can only recharge once a month, and only 360 filthy pesos? We have to collect signatures or do something because if we continue like this, the same thing will happen as happened with prices, or dollars, or everything that is happening right now. Fight for Cuban rights, which have been taken from us.

Well what they don't say is that when you recharge with the 360 CUP You get the combo packages and you run out of voice minutes. You can't buy the ones they're promoting. So when you run out of MB, minutes, and text messages, you're cut off from communication. I'm talking about those of us who are trying to survive on our salaries and pensions. The poor, ordinary Cubans who, unfortunately, no one cares about anymore.
In the end, the connection is slower and the packages last less, instead of fixing everything, they only present more scams to get the little money that Cubans have.

Yesterday, June 21st, I couldn't connect and when I checked, ETECSA had taken everything I had accumulated in data, voice and messaging, apparently I understood wrong or didn't explain well, that these plans, bought with my money and therefore my property, do not apply the 35 days of validity, what an abuse to take away from the population, me who am retired, everything saved and accumulated!!! I have never been able to understand that the plans that one buys and that are their property have an expiration date. It is not enough for ETECSA that they are paid for in advance, they also expropriate them within the period they dictate. It is an injustice, I am writing it everywhere and I do not receive any comments, much less the return of what was stolen... I will continue waiting
I completely agree with you, it's an injustice, it shouldn't be like this. If I bought a package and after 35 days I have minutes and data left, it shouldn't expire because I bought it and it's money I lose.

The leaders of ETECSA and those who support them remain untouched and are completely unaware of the Cuban reality regarding the income and needs of the people who do not even have the means to survive, going hungry because their income is insufficient.
