A breakdown in the manufactured gas network will affect two Havana municipalities for several hours this weekend. This was reported by the Manufactured Gas Company in an official statement.
The cut will be made for urgent maintenance
The affected section is located on 51st Avenue, between 96th and 100th Streets, a key area for gas service in the network that supplies Playa and Marianao.
According to the company, a damaged section of the pipeline needs to be replaced to maintain service stability in the area.
In order to carry out the work, production plant number 2 will have to be completely shut down from 10 p.m. on Friday, May 9, until 4 a.m. on Saturday, May 10.
The two municipalities will be temporarily without service
During those six hours, there will be no gas supply in Playa or Marianao. The interruption will be total, according to information shared by the state entity, attached to CUPET.

The company asks for understanding from those affected.
The Manufactured Gas Company apologized to customers in these municipalities for any inconvenience this may cause. At the same time, it assured them that it remains committed to providing a stable and safe service.
