The note states that due to the A deficit in the national electricity system is forcing outages organized in blocks from morning to night.
The Electric Union (UNE) reported today that power service remained disrupted throughout the night, and that the previous day saw uninterrupted blackouts around the clock. The maximum disruption recorded yesterday was 24 MW at 1706:8 p.m., although this did not coincide with peak demand.
The energy situation remains critical today. Early in the day, availability was only 1600 MW compared to a demand of 2650 MW, creating a deficit of 980 MW. According to the official forecast, up to 1250 MW will be affected by midday.
Peak hours with more than 1400 MW out of service
The situation will worsen during peak hours, when demand is expected to reach 3400 MW and availability is expected to reach only 2035 MW. This would result in a deficit of 1365 MW and an estimated impact of 1435 MW, according to the official report from the UNE.
Regarding renewable energy, photovoltaic solar parks contributed 1068 MWh in the last 24 hours, an insufficient figure given the decline in conventional generation.
Power outages organized by blocs in Havana
Given the severity of the deficit, the Havana government announced blackouts organized by customer groups:
Block 1: no service from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm
Block 2: from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm
Block 4: from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm
Block 3: from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm
Local authorities recommended following official channels on Telegram, Facebook, and X, as well as calling 18888 to obtain area-specific information or report incidents.
No improvements in sight
So far, there has been no report of a possible recupgeneration. Energy availability remains well below national demand, which suggests more days of extended outages.

If the Havanans are happy, they ask permission to affect them and they only give them 3 hours, and the easterners resist 12 and 18 hours a day.
Planned blackouts in Havana of 4 hours and the rest of the country (green areas) with less than four hours
many times of lighting, how well planned!!!!!!
In addition to the disproportionate blackouts between the nation's capital and the inland provinces, the fuel allocations for power plants owned by the population are also disproportionate: 10 liters in the interior and 20 liters in the capital per month. How can this be understood?

Well, that will be in Havana, here in Cienfuegos there are between 18 and 20 daily.
Havana residents were saved here in Santiago for 6 hours with fractional electricity and 24 hours of blackout.
You drew your own conclusions.
Despite the bad news regarding the electricity generation deficit, the report from the Electric Union is very complete. Thanks to my colleagues, and please keep that information.
Down with Tyranny
It's unacceptable how we're living, families unable to eat because of the prolonged blackouts and the gas shortages. How long can we continue to resist?
Blackouts in Havana are easily bearable. They're unbearable in the interior of the country, where power goes out for 12 or 14 hours at a time, then goes out for 3 or 4 hours before it's back on again.
