The Ministry of National Institute of Statistics and Census (MINCIN) reports on deliveries of basic food baskets in different Cuban provinces.

Although the basic food basket doesn't cover all needs, it remains a lifeline for millions of Cuban families in the face of inflation and shortages.

The Ministry of Domestic Trade (MINCIN) updated the distribution of regulated products in several provinces across the country, revealing delays, partial deliveries, and some complete coverage.

In Villa Clara: partial deliveries and delays

Delivery of peas is pending in Camajuaní and Placetas; the rest of the municipalities have already received the 10 ounces per consumer.

  1. Everything is wrong, the VPM continues selling everything very expensively, the kiosks hide the products even worse, they get richer every day, the inspectors do not do their job as it should be, nobody cares about anything, ethical and moral values have been lost, what a shame for those retirees who gave everything and now they have no way to feed themselves while others are living the sweet life if salaries do not increase our people will not be able to maintain essential needs and neither will health, which are very important things.

  2. It seems that Granma is not a province of Cuba. There is no mention of the distribution of the basic food basket in the territory. It seems that we are doing very well or that it is one of the most backward.

  3. It's a shame that a complete .es happens, and more so on almost every occasion, and the people have no support. Having a supply card is just for fun. You spend the month waiting for basic products like rice and sugar and they don't arrive. It's sad to think about those who only earn 2000 pesos, how they eat, how they live, how they feed their families, it's a disgrace. I'm speechless.

  4. In Santiago de Cuba and its municipalities, the missing rice from March, April, and May has not been distributed in full, not a single grain. Milk for children under zero has not been found. Sugar is conspicuously absent, as is cooking oil and cleaning supplies.

  5. My comment is regarding the electricity supply in Pinar del Río, where hundreds of families remain without power for more than 20 hours. The Director of the Electric Union in this province recently received recognition as Pinar del Río is the province with the greatest energy savings in the country. Please investigate this colleague thoroughly, as it is assumed he is in collusion with coal sellers. Regards.

      • What I do know is that every day that passes, more and more people are knocking on doors asking for something to eat, because their meager salary or checkbook isn't enough to provide adequate nutrition.
Shame on those who waste no time forming groups to take a plane and go out to "strengthen bonds of friendship," spending a fortune on it, which would surely be enough to buy a gas boat or powdered milk for the children.
        They should be ashamed.
