As announced this Saturday, the Cuban president would present his nomination for prime minister, a position approved following the adoption of the country's new constitution. However, many have been surprised by Miguel Díaz-Canel's decision to appoint Manuel Marrero Cruz, until now Cuba's minister of tourism.
According to the forecasts, Inés María Chapman and Roberto Morales Ojeda were the main candidates for the position.cupa position that has been absent from the official Cuban nomenclature for decades.
However, it was Marrero Cruz who became Cuba's prime minister, after being proposed by the President of the Republic and approved by the assembly with characteristic unanimity.

Díaz-Canel recalled that his candidate had served as Minister of Tourism for 17 years and said that throughout his professional career and as a leader, "he has been characterized by his modesty, honesty, work ethic, political sensitivity, and loyalty to the Party and the Revolution."
Marrero Cruz is 56 years old, he is an architectural engineer and he began his career as an investor in tourist facilities in the province of Holguín, and thencupor different management positions in the eastern provinces and in Varadero.
Manuel Marrero Cruz was appointed and approved as Prime Minister of the Republic of Cuba.

Then in 1999 he was promoted to the position of first vice president of the Gaviota tourism group, and a year later orcupwould become president of that company belonging to the Armed Forces.
Marrero Cruz has led the tourism sector outstandingly, according to Díaz-Canel, who also emphasized that this is one of the main drivers of national economic development.
He also praised Marrero Cruz before the Assembly, highlighting his role as a negotiator with foreign counterparts and his participation in international meetings, where - he said - he demonstrated his talents for dialogue.cucion.
According to Diaz-Canel, his proposal had been consulted and approved by the Political Bureau of the Party's Central Committee.
In the plenary hall of the Convention Center in the Cuban capital, the National Assembly also appointed the other members of the Council of Ministers.
The Cuban Prime Minister will become President of the Council of Ministers, while Díaz-Canel remains President of the Council of State. These responsibilities were previously held by a single person and were previously carried out by Fidel Castro and Raúl Castro.
Although this represents a significant change in Cuban political nomenclature, the effectiveness of this division remains to be demonstrated in a top-down political system like Cuba's, where neither council has greater actual power than the Cuban Communist Party, whose first secretary is Army General Raúl Castro Ruz.

Marrero, perfect, yet another one to ask the people for sacrifice, and his obese daughter studying at the best universities in Spain. They're getting fatter every day. Please, at least exercise and watch your diet. They all look like pigs, and they are pigs. It's shameful to have a country worse than the Middle Ages, with laws that are neither in heaven nor on earth, with so many things that don't work. I'd like to know at least one thing that works for Cuba.
Very good decisions, in my opinion he has the capacity for the position
They gave him that position so that they could bust out their shirt buttons while the people go hungry and in need. They live freely. What a shame for anyone who still believes in the Revolution.
It is to be expected that the regime will make these strategic moves to deceive its people. Imagine how well this gentleman, Marrero, has done his job. The island is suffering the worst famine in its history, and the tourism industry run by this lackey is the one that has stolen the most in the entire history of Cuba. Therefore, in a dictatorship, all these changes are worthless; everything continues from bad to worse.
Destruction increases
Good afternoon, how are you finally? How's the stew? I don't understand.
That's old news, don't waste time putting it back up.
Good afternoon, President, I have a son imprisoned in Las Manga Bayamo for land levy. Last year, my son works on that land. It was given to someone else, and he is the provincial agricultural delegate.
I ordered the Serca to be broken and the other party to throw them here where there were two tomatoes and two beans. There was disorder because of the police and the head of agriculture. I am the mother. I am desperate because they are drinking. I would return with my son four years ago. Made is in prison.
Another son of a bitch will solve the degraded situation of Cuban citizens, another son of a bitch who will fill his pockets and the pockets of that faggot Canel and the sons of the cops.
The Cuban system of power is unique. The only one that, with its limitations due to the lack of resources we Cubans have because of the cruel blockade imposed 62 years ago, has limited our leaders from being able to do more for their fellow citizens. But the humanist principle has not been lost. Let us fight for this new generation so that the people have the minimum essentials to live and develop. The elected cadres, just as Raúl did, will know how to uphold the principles of Martí and Fidel. We will not give up and will remain faithful to them until the end of our days. That communism that everyone criticizes, at least cares.cuptutorcupfor his people.

And in those "almost all countries with presidential regimes" who chooses their president?
What happened to the previous minister? He was promoted to another position.
Nothing gentlemen, when people who are unknown start to lead this country and are appointed by hand, the revolution will come on its own, it's just a matter of time. People are no longer afraid, much less of leaders whose origins are unknown. Remember that the only one who was respected was Fidel.
As far as I know, in almost all countries with presidential governments, the prime ministers are appointed by the President, as are the other vice ministers and ministers, since this is a constitutional power. Furthermore, the president of the Council of State is also the president of the National Assembly of People's Power (Congress).
