Traveling to Europe is now easier with the new tour packages offered by Havanatur. Many point out that it's much easier to obtain a Schengen Visa with these offers, while also enjoying a unique opportunity that opens the doors to the Old World through some of its most beautiful cities.
Such is the case of Prague and Bratislava, two cities that test the sense of wonder of any visitor.
Although perhaps not as widely mentioned as other cities around the world due to the media opacity resulting from the decades under socialist rule, Prague is considered one of the most beautiful cities in Europe and the planet in general. Its beauty, art, and history make it one of the twenty most visited cities in the world.
Today it is classified as a cosmopolitan "Beta Plus" city, comparable to Rome, Athens, or Berlin.
The capital of the Czech Republic, it was formerly also the capital of the Kingdom of Bohemia and Czechoslovakia
Bathed by the waters of the Vltava River, it has just over 1.2 million inhabitants, although the entire metropolitan area has a population of almost two million, making it the most populated city in the Czech Republic and the seventh in Central Europe.
Since 1992 the UNESCO recognized its historic center as a World Heritage Site due to its undeniable architectural, historical, and cultural values.
No less seductive is Bratislava, the capital and largest city of the Republic of Slovakia. Although relatively small, with 447 inhabitants, it is the most densely populated city in Central Europe. Its charms are undeniable, as it is located on the banks of the Danube, very close to the borders of Austria and Hungary, and boasts an interesting cultural life and fascinating traditions for tourists.
The most important area from a monumental and artistic perspective is undoubtedly the Old City, which boasts a wide variety of businesses, shops, and services, making it ideal for shopping tourism. If you're interested, stay with us, and we'll tell you more about the available offers and their prices.
Let's start by talking about the itinerary:
1st day: Arrival in Prague, transfer to the hotel, accommodation at the hotel
2nd day: Prague City Tour
Our sightseeing tour begins with our official guide, taking us on a walking tour where you can appreciate the beauty of the historic center, such as the astronomical clock, built in 1410 and restored at the turn of the century. We will visit the Old Town Square and its charming surroundings with winding streets and small shops. We will pass through the former Jewish ghetto and around the synagogues and the old Jewish cemetery. The tour will continue to Ungelt, a former fortified square for shoppers where they had to pay a duty. We will also see St. James's Church and the Church of Our Lady before Týn. We will continue along Celetná Street to the Powder Tower, where we will conclude the tour. The tour ends in the city center. Lunch will be served in a typical Czech restaurant to sample Czech cuisine.
3rd day: Free – The agency suggests visiting the National Museum or the National Gallery, although many prefer to go to the Beer Museum.
Day 4: Excursion to the impressive Karlovy Vary
A visit to the beautiful landscapes of Bohemia on our journey to the Sudetenland. The spa town of Karlovy Vary, located in a stunning valley named after its discoverer, Charles IV, who built a hunting reserve there, exudes the splendor it enjoyed in the 20s. The beauty of its buildings, its thermal waters, and its gardens make it a must-see. Also famous for its garnet porcelain and Becherovka liqueur, we will visit the Mosar crystal factory (optional). You can enjoy free time.
Day 5: Bratislava
Departure by train to Bratislava in the morning, approximately 4 hours. This city tour will take you to the city's most important and significant sites, such as the Presidential Palace, a modern center.
Eurovea, the Danube Promenade, the city walls, and more. From Bratislava Castle, you can enjoy an excellent panoramic view of the Old Town. We will then continue along the Danube to reach the monumental ruins of Devin Castle, located on a hill at the confluence of the Danube and Moravia rivers, offering a unique view of the landscape. For centuries, Celts, Germans, Romans, and Slavs passed through here. Only Napoleon's armies managed to destroy it.
6th day: Segway Departure
Segway Tour: Departure on a Segway, a one-hour journey, with a tour leader to the most beautiful monuments. The meeting point will be specified on the voucher received by the client.
7th day: Free day. Tourists often take advantage of the opportunity to do their shopping or take care of personal matters such as document processing, making connections for future trips, etc. Keep in mind that this is the last day of tourist activities. Take advantage of it!
