Flying to Cuba and bringing joy to your mother is one of the gifts you've probably thought about this Mother's Day. Current prices are quite low, and it might be a good time to do so, before the Trump administration takes action on travel to Cuba, as many anticipate.
With Mother's Day just around the corner, thousands of Cubans in the United States are already planning their trips to the island. If you're among them, this may be the best time to book your flight. Not only because of current prices, but also because of the fear of new restrictions being imposed under the Donald Trump administration.

Why is it worth booking now?
Beyond the current rates, there are concernscuption among the Cuban community in the United States over possible measures that could restrict flights to the island. Under the current Trump administration, there has been talk of reducing connections with countries considered "enemies" or untrustworthy, and Cuba is among the main ones on this so-called "red list."
Even Cubans with legal residence in the United States fear being trapped if entry restrictions are imposed after visiting the island. Congresswoman María Elvira Salazar has openly criticized those who "request asylum in the United States and then vacation in Cuba," demanding that their immigration status be reviewed.
Although there have been no official announcements of immediate closures, the political climate is volatile, and many are moving their trips forward out of caution.
Requirements you must take into account

Who would want to come to Cuba with the Trump deportation mess? I think at least Cubans wouldn't dare travel to Cuba with the uncertainty of not being able to leave afterward.
I want to know if I go to Cuba now with my residency and if I won't have any problems returning to the United States again?
Those who don't owe it don't fear it. The laws in the USA are strictly enforced. If you're a political refugee, you're not supposed to be able to go back to Cuba until that murderous Castro-Canel dictatorship falls.
I think it would be great if no one traveled to Cuba for a while ⏱️, so that all these airlines with the Cuban dictatorship would lower their prices, since that $315 special is as if you were traveling to Dubai, which is almost 24 hours away, and Cuba 🇨🇺 is an hour from Miami. / Everyone gets rich off the desperation of Cuba's misery 🇨🇺
