To guarantee you as a user a secure connection, ETECSA has implemented security certificates that comply with international standards, in the Authentication Portal, in the User Portal nauta and in frequently used browsers.
Despite this, to protect your Nauta account, we suggest you keep in mind some of the tips below so you can have greater security guarantees. Our tips are:
- Connect only to the WIFI_ETECSA wireless network in public spaces declared as Wi-Fi sites.
- Always log in as an ETECSA user and not through other people or applications to reduce the cost of the connection. This can affect the quality of the connection and compromise your security as a user.
- Do not log in when security warnings appear warning you of problems with the site's certificate. Someone may try to steal your credentials (i.e., your username and password). In this situation, only attempt to log in again when the portal appears without prior notifications. If you receive a security warning, you should not log in through this window. Remember, only attempt to log in again when the Nauta portal appears without prior notifications.
- Do not share your credentials (i.e., your username and personal password) with strangers. These individuals could misuse your user credentials without authorization.
- Do not save your user credentials on your computer and do not lend out the devices you use to connect frequently.
- Change your personal password frequently in the User Portal.
- Do not accept balance transfer offers from strangers on Wi-Fi hotspots, as you could be linked to account theft from other users and become involved in a fraud investigation.
- Delete your browser data (cookies, cache, credentials, etc.) every time you log in.
- Request a “reset” or “block” of your account nauta permanent access through the number 118, Commercial Information Service, in case the notification is displayed that “Your account is in use,” before you authenticate yourself.
A reset allows you to restart your account. This way, you would be logged out if your account was in use, and the person using your credentials would have to authenticate again. Therefore, we suggest that, once you perform the reset, you immediately change your password in the User Portal to prevent your credentials from being used again. In the meantime, the lock will allow Your account cannot be used until you, as the account holder, request its unblocking directly from the ETECSA commercial unit.
If you experience unjustified loss of credit due to your browsing habits, we suggest you contact the Commercial Information Service by calling 118 or file a complaint at your nearest ETECSA sales office.
Please note that ETECSA does not request credentials to offer its services. These credentials are private and confidential, so we reiterate, you should not share your personal credentials with strangers.

Hello, The last connection I made via wifi, I recharged my account with 5 cucI logged in to the La Herradura Park site on SMP, and everything was fine. I was online for 35 or 40 minutes. When I tried to reconnect, I had no credit left. I was hacked!
I only remember a few kids who were regulars at the site shouting "Conectifaii!" to sell their illegal connection services (I guess).
If I followed the suggested steps and I was robbed, how does Etecsa protect me when in the sites it enables, it is so easy to be robbed by some criminals?cupados??
