International Events in Cuba 2019: Technology Development and Sustainable Development

Several international events will take place in Cuba during 2019, focusing on topics related to technological development and sustainable development. The main ones are:

CIBSE 2019. XXII Ibero-American Conference on Software Engineering

CIbSE is the leading Software Engineering research forum in Latin America. The main objective of this conference is to promote high-quality scientific research in Latin American countries and to support researchers in this community in the publication and discussion of their work. Furthermore, the conference fosters collaboration and scientific production among academics, students, and the software industry.

CIbSE 2019 will be held in Havana. The event will include several thematic areas, an industrial session, talks by influential researchers from the Software Engineering community, and social events.

The conference will be held in conjunction with two satellite events: the Doctoral Symposium and the second edition of the Ibero-American School of Software Engineering (EIbAIS). The Doctoral Symposium has been organized to discuss ongoing doctoral projects related to Software Engineering. The school will be led by renowned academics, offering an engaging program that combines lectures and tutorials based on current trends in Software Engineering.
