The developer team of toDus, has published the bad news:

«In correspondence with the launch of mobile data services (Internet) that ETECSA Our instant and collaborative messaging system will be out of service starting December 6th, in order to guarantee a quality service, accessible to all and adapted to the new conditions. Once the necessary adjustments have been made to the platform, and in coordination with #ETECSA, we will inform you in due course about the resumption of mass pilot testing of our service, which is still in its beta phase. We apologize to all our users for any inconvenience this may cause.

The start of mobile data Internet service on cell phones raised the question among users: What will happen with toDus?, especially after the clarification of the directors of ETECSA, that the service through the consumption fee was only recommended for specific cases, because the cost of browsing the Internet would be higher this way than if you purchased a package.

On the other hand, on October 4th of this year, the team of toDus announced the need to activate the pay-as-you-go option, mandatory, in order to use the application. However, ToDus would be free of charge for the consumption fee.

But, the team of ToDus finally decided to stop its services, to avoid inconvenience with the slow connection to the users of the Internet service, in order not to generate additional traffic in the networks of ETECSA.

In short: this seems like the farewell of toDusIt is surprising that, given the much-mentioned computerization of society, and the need for it Cuba of producing its own platforms and content for the consumption of its users, projects such as toDus, designed for much more than they could ever achieve.
