How to travel to Haiti from Cuba?

Haiti is one of the nations that allows Cuban citizens to enter the country with a tourist visa, but without having to go through an overly complicated process.

Cubans wishing to travel to Haiti from Cuba must present themselves in advance at the Haitian Embassy in Havana and present the required documents.

Tourist visa application process to travel to Haiti from Cuba

For Cubans to apply for a tourist visa to travel to Haiti, they must adhere to one of the following guarantees:

They must have a resident of Haiti guaranteeing their stay. In this case, they must present the original Affidavit legalized by the Haitian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MAE), as well as the original Bank Guarantee and Workplace Letter, including the signature and name of the responsible person and the entity's stamp.

Cubans will also be able to travel to Haiti if they have personal financial support during their stay in Haiti. This will be verified by presenting their Bank Guarantee, either in CUC, CUP or USD.

In the latter case, the Haitian Embassy in Cuba does not define a minimum amount for the Bank Guarantee for the applicant in Cuba.

In both cases, Cubans must also meet the following requirements:

- Valid Cuban passport with a minimum validity of 6 months

-Photocopy of the identity card

-1 visa or passport size photograph

-Criminal record (it is not necessary to legalize it by the MINREX)

-If you are a student, you must also present the authorization letter from the Study Center, including the date or period in which you plan to travel and duly stamped by the corresponding entity.

Submit a visa application form, reflecting the exact address of where you will be staying during your stay.

Payment of the consular fee intended for the tourist visa, it is not refundable in case the visa is denied. For the preparation of the file, 25 will be paidCUC and for the multiple visa for one year 150 CUC
