The Cuban Bread Company has announced its decision to increase the price of bread due to the high cost of raw materials.
This was confirmed in Sancti Spíritus by Dannei González Tejeda, head of operations of said entity, to the local radio station.
"Right now, we're selling 200 grams of soft bread for 120 pesos because we're purchasing raw materials at a higher price. We have to buy flour, yeast, sugar, and the kernel from non-state economic actors, and prices have increased," he explained.
Not only will the price of this variety increase. According to the information provided, the price of the 200g hard crust loaf will also increase to 145g. CUPIn this case, the management justified this by saying, "Hard bread doesn't contain sugar, soft bread contains 5% sugar, and hard bread doesn't. This percentage is supplemented with flour, and since flour is more expensive, the cost of hard bread increases."
Cubans criticize the increase in the price of bread
The announcement has drawn criticism on social media. User N. Del Toro commented: "Poor us retirees, and of course, all the Cuban people."
On the other hand, Mr. Martínez questioned the fact that this news about a state-owned company received little coverage: "Can you imagine if it were about a private individual? So many roundtables to question and discuss everything! But it's the State, and everyone stays quiet."
Flour shortage and reduction in bread size
Last September, the Ministry of Food Industry (MINAL) announced the decision to temporarily reduce the weight of the bread from 80 to 60 grams. The goal was to ensure that bread reached every family. However, flour shortages continue to be a problem on the island, where residents have limited access to this staple food.
The Cuban Bread Company's price increase is another piece of bad news for the population. Although the measure is driven by the shortage of raw materials and the dependence on non-state suppliers, it will ultimately affect the most vulnerable sectors, such as retirees.

Finally this is a revolution, for the rich, millionaires, and some who have good salaries, because what Valdes Mesa said about low salaries and pensioners, they cannot buy bread, not for 80 cup , except for those of 120 and 145 cup What a lack of respect for ordinary Cubans. It seems that no big boss has to buy them. Every time they invent something, it's against ordinary Cubans. Whoever doesn't have family abroad has to die. Until when, and even less so now with dollar stores, oh! And how rotten they are.
before RAISING THE PRICE OF BREAD they must
IMPROVE THE QUALITY which is not bad..
and they must also IMMEDIATELY increase the weight of the bread given in the ration book. THERE ARE MANY ILLEGAL BAKERS WHO BUY BREAD FROM BEHIND THE VEHICLES AND AT DAWN IN THE MORNING TO SELL IT AT AN EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE PRICE TO THE POPULATION. UNTIL WHEN? are they going to continue STEALING from the population?
Companies have taken the issue of food as a game. How is it possible that bread prices are rising at this time when millions of Cubans cannot afford to go to private stores? How would a married couple with two or more children manage? But what option do we leave a retiree or pensioner after giving their lives working? Please, there is no other option to resolve this important and painful issue. What do these people have for breakfast? If there isn't even milk, let me explain. I am Cuban and for this I have given everything. I do not regret it, but think things over more carefully and do not throw so many stones like that. You are not targeting anyone.
What the average Cuban is experiencing isn't easy. The embargo is real, but the internal blockade is even more real; it's severely suffocating us. I don't see the government taking any action in this regard. Bread and non-bread prices are rising, rising, and nothing happens. And it's in the face of good Cubans, because resellers are no longer hiding behind their products, which belong to the population, in order to raise the price, which is sometimes unaffordable for retirees. I don't think the reseller is to blame; there are others higher up ☝️ 😉 who know better; you don't have to be analytical or an expert.
and the salaries take the example of Maduro, he raised the salary for his people here, not here, fuck them, I thank my Lord for protecting us
Bread resellers of 0.75 sell 9 loaves for 250 pesos and the weight is less than 60 grams. What's the answer to that? And stale bread for 200 pesos? Who controls that? Well, the state administrators who run the bakeries are responsible for the prices and the weight of the bread are unacceptable. Take measures against those who do not comply with the people and with this new measure, the bread will be sold like a cookie. Think about the retirees and the people. And 800ml oil for 950 pesos. Think that retirees cannot buy that, less oil, anyway, individuals want to control it. Well, when there are protesters on the streets, businesses close and chaos ensues. It is known that 1L oils cost 1200 pesos, how long is this? Think again, the bill doesn't add up.
Now they're going to raise the price. The price has already been in place for a while.
That is abuse how much it went up
the merchandise.
It seems like an emulation between private and state SMEs to see who sets the highest price.
Poor retirees and anyone who lives honestly on a salary will never be able to.
Well, if the state raises the price of bread, how much will the kings raise it?
Sellers, now many retirees will continue to go hungry. The state does not look at the economic situation of the poor unfortunates, who have nowhere to get money for their food. They should do a thorough study for those retirees whose pensions are very small.
If prices go up, the cost of pensions must also go up. Inspectors are already paid to be assigned to make more money. They're not doing their job; they're a link in the corruption.
All to the detriment of the population, it is a lack of respect for everyone, starting with those who run the country and going all the way down to those in between, it is all theft and shamelessness, in this thing that some call a country people are starving, nothing is useful, everything is bad, and then they go on television saying that we have to resist and everything will be fine, until when? We only have one life and we need to live as people.
Everything in this country is abusive, both by the state and by individuals, it seems that they are competing to see who sells more expensively and yes, the poor, mainly the retirees with that miserable checkbook they earn.
They don't even have enough for the basics, what a shameless thing for God's sake, even when
The current abuse against the public sector workers and retirees, especially those like me who were retired before July 2029, before the salary reform, is an outrage. And since you don't give a damn and are going to keep raising prices, prepare a combo meal and, along with the bread in a bag, give it a rope as a gift. This is so that all the retirees and mothers with schoolchildren without resources disappear from the face of the earth. The bread they sell in the ration book is getting smaller and worse every day. What a lack of respect we've fallen into for our fellow human beings. Those in power seem to have no family, and the easiest solution is to raise prices. Don't answer me, there's no need.
I think they've been criticizing and fining everyone who sells at higher prices for a while, without knowing how they obtain the raw materials to make or produce the products. So, how is it possible that the state, which is so reluctant to pay high prices, is the one raising the price of bread, just like a pound of meat in foreign currency, cheese, or anything else? They're now realizing it. Since they removed the cuc prices went out of hand.
What is needed here are true economists because here the economy of an agricultural country is finished, many impectors are doing evil instead of putting them to work as farmers, I would like my little country not to be destroyed more than it is, nobody does anything, they only blame the blockade, although there is enough land here to produce but the bureaucracy kills us.
Here in Havana, bread is sold by private individuals because it's impossible to stumble upon take 1, because when it's not flour, it's something else, but something is always missing.
They didn't take away the ration book, but they are taking away our food more and more every day.
It is no longer a lack of respect for the population, but rather a mockery and it is increasing more and more.
The basket almost never comes, and now this. The resellers will sell it for 200 more than what a worker earns.
Nothing, the world will soon be in great tribulation, for Cuba it is already past.
What nerve, poor children, poor elderly people who, like me, receive a pension of $1528 after having given up a farm of 3 caballerías of land because I was alone, sick and old, which gives the aforementioned amount in a single day and when my retirement came, I saw with pain that it is one of the smallest, which is not enough for me to even pay for my medicines, not even for the enalapril of the month, what a sad reality.
My beloved brothers and sisters of Cuba, unfortunately we are going through the crisis never seen in Cuba and in the world and it will get worse, this is only the beginning of a universal disaster, but there is hope, only in Christ, the Bible says that a curse will fall on those who withhold food from the people, but a blessing on those who sell it, and it also says, I was young and I have grown old, and I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread, our refuge is God, it is not a shameless and abusive government like the one we have, this is over, but who are we going to claim, because if not, you know ... let us go humbly to the feet of God, whom this government always denied for its atheism and persecuted Christians and look at how it has the people, go to the Bible and see the book of Deuteronomy 28, there are the blessings if we obey and the curses if not ,it is because of the unbelief and witchcraft and IDOLATRY of this nation that all this misery has come upon us, let us return to God and be obedient to his word and we will have his blessings.
What else could happen to us? We barely eat bread anymore, another story to keep raising prices, then they want to fine individuals if they themselves do not respect themselves and everything is expensive, what a horror!
Until when will prices continue to rise? This is not only the situation for retirees, but also for those of us who work, whose wages are not enough for anything.
We've always bought hard-crust bread at Playa for 150.00. Until when? What a lie. All of this is caused by a lack of control.
In my town, they raised the price of bread and told private bakeries they could raise it if they wanted. The response was no. So the expensive flour is the state-owned flour, not the private one? The state raises prices on everything, forgetting about supply and demand. That's the least of their concerns. All that matters is boosting the economy at the expense of the people. Those are the grand ideas of wanting to substitute imports.
There is no salary that can withstand it, it's all about price increases, the bread that the children will eat their snacks with, there are sad stories of children who don't have a snack to take to school, mothers with very low incomes, on the other hand, do we retirees have to continue working until death surprises us at work?
Please find a solution for all the 1500, 1200 oil. They keep selling it to you, they're making fun of it.
For a while now, hard bread in Ayestaran has been at $150, the same size as when it cost $80.00.
So, instead of trying to increase supply, they're raising prices? Until when?! And the best part is that the poor quality of bread is now like blackouts: "normal."
How can a private individual bring in flour and have bread every day, and the government can't? And don't even mention the fucking blockade! That's known to be a lie, enough is enough! You're incompetent! Leave the government and go away! You can't solve the country's problems. It's time to let go of power and get out of Cuba.
Now the jar is really broken. This is unacceptable. Does Diz Canela know about this?
It is the greatest shamelessness and deception of the population that never ends while there are thousands of resellers of the product in the streets that never run out of flour and without mentioning that in the state's own bakeries, all types of bread are guaranteed and sold wholesale at higher prices and that of the population is not guaranteed, I ask if there is a special flour for such shamelessness, what I say is happening in all the bakeries in the country. I can guarantee you that.
It is the greatest shamelessness and deception of the population that never ends while there are thousands of resellers of the product in the streets that never run out of flour and without mentioning that in the state's own bakeries, all types of bread are guaranteed and sold wholesale at higher prices and that of the population is not guaranteed, I ask myself if there is a special flour for such shamelessness.
Prices keep going up and up 🤔😞😱. Poor pensioners and retirees.
How far will they abuse us retirees who gave everything for the revolution, 47 years of work and 1530 pesos of uninterrupted work, even on voluntary weekends? Love us.
Now all prices will begin to skyrocket even more when salaries in education and healthcare go up. These things don't solve any problems. A country with a rock-bottom economy that doesn't produce raises salaries for the second time in two indirect sectors. Now it's 100% true: the rich are getting richer and the poor are getting poorer. Meanwhile, there's a vulnerable social stratum that's hungry. The retirees who gave their all when this country was full of work and production.
What a lack of respect, bread for the elderly and children, no, this revolution was fought so that the leaders could eat and the people were dying of hunger and now they raise the bread and go through the streets enough.
the price of bread and other products goes up and they justify it by saying that it has gone up in the world market, what is not justified is the low wages and their inequalities in the different social classes that the same state has created or contributed to its creation, it is not justified with the low pensions received by those who due to their age or disability can no longer work, it is not justified because we do not earn in a currency backed by foreign currency, it is not justified because the state is the administrator of wealth and there is no equality in the distribution, For years we have been waiting for an economic structure capable of generating income in foreign currency to be created and the only thing we have managed to do is squander resources, management systems are dedicated to meetings and not to productive actions or the improvement of services, to each organization and institution that a citizen addresses, he only finds obstacles and disappointments, the country loses young labor every day, they emigrate looking for better conditions and although they do not want to see this phenomenon, this will generate an unprecedented crisis in the future, which will unsustainable for society
ex
So that means that the state will have higher prices than the local authorities because hard-crust bread is 130 pesos. So they are talking about ending inflation when the abuse of the working people is effective.
comment so that if my country is already a disaster for our retired elderly people it is better to lower the price of ropes so that they can buy them and end this nightmare is that perhaps
We don't think that these elderly people gave their lives in every factory in the fields of this country and now they can't even eat a loaf of bread because of their low salary as retirees. And when it's time to have dinner or buy their medicines, the fight is really tough. It's up to you, that's my opinion.
What should be raised are the salaries. The only ones who buy those loaves of bread in bulk to resell them are the charlatans. Unfortunately, we have to put ourselves at their mercy.
What ropes?
Also, at the bakery closest to my home, they sell the soft ones for 130.
Lack of control. Impunity.
Where is the government? Playing with evil capitalism and shameless lies.
Good evening, how is it possible that the Visit Alegre bakery in Lawton has stopped making the 130 peso hard bread for the population due to the lack of flour, and they sell that same bread to bread vendors on the street at 150 pesos, to be resold for 250 pesos, for the same reason they can't afford the flour, and what are our children going to have breakfast with, because if they don't get up early, they won't have enough bread, the shamelessness is too much, and no leader does anything, because they do things in front of their faces, but no one with a full stomach cares about the people, until when will the shamelessness of this country continue?
Thanks, bro, for clearing up my doubts. I was wondering where so many vendors here in Sevillano came from with so many hard-crust loaves for 250. So what you're saying must be true.
Everything the state does provisionally becomes permanent. There are plenty of examples, tell us if you want, from when we gave Chile sugar until today.
Until when!!!! And retirees starving and eating leftovers from the garbage!!! Until when will prices continue to rise? Of course, there are companies that charge 60000 pesos a month in salaries, but what about the rest?
If we continue searching for these justified solutions, inflation in the Cuban economy will not end, so the people can see that nothing is good, but on the contrary, the best thing is not to make more bread; it is the most expensive bread in the world and also the worst in quality. Later, we do not want bad opinions of our leaders who allow this to happen.
At the bakery in the Debeche district in Guanabacoa, it has been costing 130 pesos for a long time. The standard price is the size and weight of a birthday loaf of bread, and this is seen by the inspectors who have been in the bakery.
Tell me with what money am I going to buy the bread that you are going to raise the price what kind of son of a b..a are you all?
It's all the fault of communism, which came to help the poor. Now it's helping everyone who has power and position in this country to continue robbing and enslaving this country. The poor or the working class, screw you.
So our children won't even be able to eat bread for breakfast to receive education... speechless...
There is no bread, no sweet potato, no nothing... please, we must give this situation some thought. Not all of us have the $250 or $300 for a bag of bread in an MSME.
How do the old people who barely have enough retirement money manage?
I really don't understand why the price of products (in this case, bread) that are offered in the market is rising. CUP to the population.
Does anyone in this country have a private mill to make flour and grow wheat?
The publication says that the reason for the rise in the price of bread is because the raw material has to be purchased from non-state economic actors… and I wonder:
Can't the Cuban state buy that flour from the same place where those non-state economic actors get it?
I would appreciate it if someone could explain to me WITH CONVINCING ARGUMENTS (not with "grit")
Thank you.
Friend, the state does not have the liquidity to make purchases abroad, that is why it turns to the private sector to do them, and as they say, also other basic products in food
We see more and more how the PAN will rise if the salary of a worker, a retiree, a mother with 3
more children, with financial aid it is not enough. Tell me how we can buy bread every day because a loaf of bread is not enough.
As a retiree with almost 50 years of work, I earn a checkbook of 1678 pesos, a daily average of 55 pesos, so I would have to accumulate three days' salary to be able to buy a loaf of bread, and man cannot live on bread alone.
It's true everything that's happening and more, because the state doesn't come here to defeat Guasimal belonging to the province of Sancti Spiritus and see how much unprofitable land they have here they don't give it to anyone and they are not even able to plant it: could not wheat be planted on them to end the flour problem? The head of the cooperative that resides in Tayabacoa tells lies and it is to get richer and richer he is taking salaries at the expense of things that are not being done and workers that do not exist let's see where the conversation of people like that stops since no one from the Sancti Spiritus government is interested because they live with their bellies full but Jehovah will take care of them
It is criminal to continue telling lies to the people justifying the blockade, but none of them agree. The blockade is doing to the people what Stalin did to the Russian people. He squeezed them and squeezed them until he exterminated them and killed them. All of their lives are decided at their own expense.
One more disrespectful measure that harms the people.
First of all, we're clear that the Cuban Bread Chain cannot UNILATERALLY make a decision of this magnitude. There isn't a single positive comment, which makes us wonder: how far away is the ANPP from the base of the population pyramid? I say we can get out of this hole, but in my opinion, we're using COMPLETELY WRONG TECHNIQUES. LET'S START BY UNLEASHING PRODUCTIVE FORCES "UNRESTRICTED," AND I SAY WITHOUT A DOUBT, IT CAN BE DONE.
So I don't understand anything, is it from the MSMEs or is it from Cubana del Pan? Are you SPECIAL?
The bread at the Macedonia bakery (Cerro-Canal) is not good enough, it is a small snack, and the soft-topped flute bread (called "el desfaado") is sometimes made badly and other times it is so-so, but the price is 130CUP It is a robbery to the population and nothing happens, until when
Total disaster. State bread is scarce, because there are days when there isn't any, it's irregular in quantity and of poor quality. It's already quite expensive compared to current state salaries. In the end, everything ends up being sold to individuals; those with money eat bread, which isn't the majority. This happens everywhere in the world, with one difference: those who work live better than those who steal. Here it's different: the swindlers, those who steal, live and eat. Managers don't acknowledge the real problems in their speeches, so they don't solve anything. It's becoming increasingly difficult to feed oneself, even more difficult to get around, and impossible to wear clothes and shoes.
The nerve is going too far. They're constantly questioning the self-employed's high prices, and they have no limits. Now it turns out they have to buy raw materials from private individuals. What the government does is, they can't buy where the private sector buys, so why do they have to buy from them? It's a way of justifying the lack of management and the way they've become comfortable and accustomed to doing nothing. Stop being so brazen, these days the blind are few and far between.
In this country, subsidized products have already been lost, now everything is "every man for himself"
On the slab, the hard plan has been at 250 for a while now, are they going to raise it more?
If it were just bread, we wouldn't have such serious problems. The only thing that no longer works is this government, which is hitting rock bottom. A change would improve bread and everything else.
On one hand there is talk of lowering the prices of products and on the other hand there is talk of increasing the price of bread, which is already the most expensive bread in the world... and what about the retirees... they have just died of hunger in this conflict, they have not thought about that because there is no price difference for them like there is in many countries, for example in Ecuador, everything they buy is 50% of the price... or about increasing their pensions, have those who earn only 1500 pesos and have no family to help them thought about it...
Announce it? After it's uploaded, hahaha, they'll upload it... More, hahaha, the end of this story, but oh well, that's how the world behaves. Everything goes to hell.
They just have to admit that this can't be tolerated anymore. If it were just bread, we wouldn't have any problems. We would bring it from Haiti, but the government is no longer good for anything. A change will improve everything.
Bt, Driver... and his salary is 100 a day, hahahahaha, imagine, I'm a doctor and I don't even make 9000 a month, that doesn't even last me 4 days. Sorry, it's just a comment; this is getting worse every day.
We are now at the doors of the second reconcentration, the first was Weiler's, this one must be named after him
It's not easy, and I, as a retiree, at least, don't buy bread because the resellers have a very high price. And if I eat bread, I don't pay the electricity bill or buy any food, the food is expensive, and I only buy 1528.
Well, that's normal here in Cuba, nothing surprises you anymore.
What bread??? Well, here in Havana it is normal to buy it at a premium because the state ones don't have it.
The same old shit
We raised the price, Liborio, you endure it because of the fear that runs through your body and in a while we will raise prices again and dare to protest.
All prices are rising and retirement is less than 2000 cup It doesn't go up. What will become of us?
But the state does not have the money to buy and they buy it from non-state sectors.
How come those people buy, but the state doesn't? Where's the money going? Good luck with that. You guys know how to invest, like when you bought the snow trucks.
I'm a driver, I earn 100 pesos a day. It's not even enough for a loaf of bread. It's shameful.
It seems that he had forgotten to include the theft of flour, sugar and oil in the cost sheet.
We are criticizing SMEs for their high prices, and the state continues to raise them.
your products, and then what?
If bread has become a tragedy why don't bakeries sell to the rich that we already have, they are in charge of hiring the flour and everything that goes into the bread, they will set their price but it will have quality, now the bread does not have quality, the one that comes out first is that of the master bakers because it is their extra money and so we continue to suffer with this chain of horrors that bread has become, now children cannot have breakfast in the mornings because there is no consistency in delivery, retirees cannot buy it either because of the prices of the individual who already makes bread and enriches themselves at the expense of our needs, what a disaster, I think that someone should put their head and heart to this situation if the private business is the one that prospers, that bread also joins these ranks and that the price is affordable.
In the Municipality of Artemisa the price of that bread is $130 because
In this country we will never have new news for the people again, when they lowered the size of the bread one thought, well it will be temporary, but it has not been like that, the bread does not even reach 40 grams and every day it gets worse, every day everything, everything more expensive and worse, and I ask myself why so many died and Fidel died, what government is this? Is this what they fought so much for... come up with your own answer.
And who imposes the fine on the criminals of the PCC due to rising prices?
And when will they increase the quality and weight, or will we have to settle for mini loaves forever?
Why don't they put the thousands of prisoners we have to work the land so that raw materials can be produced here? At the end of the day, we're still stuck with the problems affecting the people. Price-cutters take advantage, and many of them swell their coffers, except for the working people.
lack of respect for the Cuban people
You raise the price based on the high cost of raw materials, but salaries and pensions don't increase. We live on gouts by the nose. Until when will eating a piece of bread become a luxury? No to high prices, no to abuse of the people. Put an end to the justifications that hurt people's pockets.
In my neighborhood, the price of hard-crusted bread rose to 150 and is of poor quality.
The issue of prices in Cuba is crazy. He must have been embarrassed to admit that the supply is not state-run, when the state is the absolute owner of everything that moves.
My God, speechless, yesterday I bought the hard flute bread for 120 at the liberated bakery and it couldn't have been smaller and harder, terrible quality and expensive, speechless
Not only retirees, but many workers with salaries of $2800 don't even have enough to eat breakfast for a full month of work. If you have to pay for transportation, that's worse. It's not worth working for the state. I worked for 49 years, and my pension is $1730. How do I manage?
In January 5 days, in February 10 days, in March 10 days and in April we are already going for 11 days without bread. The leaders do not tolerate this, they have government cars, they get all the food they need, even beer and rum, all of quality.
THE INTERNATIONAL
& UP WITH THE POOR OF THE WORLD,
THE SLAVES STAND WITHOUT BREAD,
AND LET US ALL SHOUT UNITED, LONG LIVE THE INTERNATIONAL &
& WHERE THE PROLETARIANS HAVE THE ENJOYMENT OF THEIR GOOD,
WE HAVE TO BE THE WORKERS, THE WORKERS,
THOSE WHO GUIDE THE TRAIN &
THAT'S WHERE THE PROBLEM LIES.
! WE WORKERS ARE NOT GUIDING ANYTHING!
AND FOR SOME BOSSES, CUBANS ARE LIKE DOGS OR SLAVES WHO ARE WORTHLESS.
How disrespectful to say that 5% of the sugar in soft bread is replaced with flour in hard bread. That lady doesn't know what she's talking about. If all the % in bread are based on flour, the difference between one and the other is the cooking time in the oven. For God's sake, that's a silly justification.
BREAD AUTHORITIES KEEP SILENT ABOUT THE THING THAT SUGAR INCREASES THE WEIGHT OF BREAD.
SO THEY MAKE MORE BREAD WITH LESS OF EVERYTHING ELSE AND EARN MORE.
THE MOTTO IS TO DO MORE WITH LESS, BUT NOT TO DO MORE WITH LESS
QUALITY AND AT A HIGHER PRICE
Obviously they want to kill us with hunger and curable diseases due to a lack of medicines and supplies... It would be better if they shot us all now.
Until when will the price increases continue? No one can bear it anymore. The salary is not enough to even buy daily bread. I'm speechless.
The rise in the price of bread must be a lie.
We look forward to seeing the official channels.
If this measure is true, it will fundamentally affect us, the retirees:
And when does this Government have good news for the people?
We are improving, inflation continues to rise, that is good because it keeps us moving forward and developing backwards, the only country in the world whose progress is in reverse.
What a lack of respect for the people! It's not just the bread, it's everything. Poor retirees, poor children, poor sick people, in short, poor the poor.
Until when are they going to lie to the people, they are abusers
The big problem Cubans face is thinking that cows produce milk. And they don't stop to consider that someone has to take care of them, feed them, and get up at 4 a.m. to milk them. So milk can't be free.
And your big problem is justifying the excesses of the PCC.
Without words, these comments get nowhere, because only the Cuban population without a leadership position at the Provincial and national level, or family that sends them enough money is the one that has access to this bread so necessary for children, young adults and the elderly, the aforementioned eat bread with pleasure made by bakeries for them, without a cost, and weekly they have food allocations, that is why they have extra groceries, they can save their salary without touching a peso and they live with a full stomach, (That is why they are leaders hahaha), what they have forgotten is why they always fought in this town, one of the fundamental objectives was to abolish the exploitation of man by man, we have returned to these times
Money is also scarce and wages should be raised.
Let them just remove it and make casabe if instead of advancing we fall further behind, Colon will discover us again
Q
The only ones affected are the people, the retirees, the children, many of whom will not be able to put bread in their mouths.
Even with retirement, you can't even eat bread. The only thing left is to die of hunger.
For retirees and those on low wages, there's no life in this country. There's nothing for those people. What a shame, after so many years of sacrifice and hard work, and now they're throwing it away like tripe. And they talk about capitalism but do the same or worse than the capitalists. What horror we live in Cuba.
Until when... should this country sink into the ocean and disappear...
Hello Ero, how are prices going to rise if the salaries of technical and administrative workers, assistance workers and retirees are far below the cost of purchasing it... when the bread is underweight and of very poor quality... what a lack of respect for the worker 🧐🤔🤔
terrorists
Until when are the abusers going to starve the people to death?
How shameless they are. One day they will have to answer for it. I'm sure they don't lack bread, and for free.
Ccjan to
But they'll be shameless. How far will they go with the price hikes? Why don't they poison or kill off all the retirees? If the government is starving them to death, we can't take it anymore. Every day, the misery increases. Today, Mayabeque has been without electricity for 16 hours straight, and we still don't know when it'll be back on. Just leave the country. You can't handle what you have.
A 60-gram loaf of bread doesn't even weigh 20 grams, and private importing economic actors don't exist. Everything is imported through state-owned companies.
Why do they lie so much and make fun of the common man?
Hard bread rises to 145 in the State and on the street to 250 and 350, where are we going to end up, who can buy it?
Not only have they reduced the grammage, according to reports from the bakery in Vista Alegre, Lawton, the flour arrives daily in the early hours of the morning, they have a large warehouse, if this is true, how can it be explained that with the lack of fuel, they make a daily trip, in addition, you have to go up to five times a day, because it constantly runs out and people are tired, in addition the reduction in the weight of the bread should have been a temporary thing, but like everything, it is here to stay.
The Cuban people are not to blame for the cost of raw materials used to make bread... that cost is included in the low wages of workers who cannot afford to eat... it is the duty of the state to guarantee an affordable price for the population of a basic product like bread... it is too much abuse for the population, for the average Cuban, for retirees... please, a little more dignity and respect is demanded...
It's shocking. With the price going up, will they be able to buy more flour?
In Cuban pesos?
RESPECT INTELLIGENCE AND RESPECT YOURSELVES
He'd better sell us the coffin now.
That in Granma Province is already old, the bread is 90g in practice and is sold for 100 pesos cup, supposedly it was supposed to be 100g, which means it is more than 1g cup the gram of ready-made bread, too expensive for most consumers
this is fucking awesome
I agree that they should suspend bread permanently and thus we will get rid of this nightmare.
It's better if they take it away even if it gives me three or if I haven't approved a bread for more than 8 months.
I am 65 years old and disabled. I have no census in Havana. I have lived here for over 20 years with 1,500 pesos that I am going to buy and I am doing it because of the medical impotence injections. They left me disabled, waiting to die of hunger.
A question, until the 90s there was flour for making bread of various types, and in Havana anyone who wanted to buy any amount, there were thousands of pizzerias that consumed flour for making their products, including sweets as well. Thousands of candy stores throughout the country used flour for all kinds of sweets. My question is, how much flour is bought today that is not enough to satisfy that little piece of bread that they give per consumer? I find what we live today very shameful. With a little shame, I dare say that more could be done.
What they should do is ensure the quality, which is very poor, and ensure the diversion; it is sold at very high prices in the neighborhoods.
let's put an end to the impudence
There is a problem here in everything and it is only solved by raising prices and no one fines the state and the poor elderly who sell their peanuts, their nonsense, the injectors do not let them live by fining them, the funnel law and the salaries are the same, there is no law to help the average Cuban and then they fill their mouths that everything is for the benefit of the people and the shirts are useless and the old people eating from the garbage cans
Everything is going against the most vulnerable sector, the population. For the ordinary worker who doesn't even have a basic breakfast, which is supposed to be the most important meal of the day. It's not a matter of politics, but of reasoning.
It is disrespectful to the population to raise the price of bread when the quota is almost never there and many families do not have the money to buy bread for their children to take as a snack. Here the price of everything is raised and the abuse of the population has to stop. Everything goes up and nothing is in favor of the people.
This is the end of the bad beginning.
It's not worth it, everyone raises prices, but us? How long can we resist?
Nobody bothers me, since they can't get prices down for individuals, then they join them... the old saying IF YOU CAN'T BEAT YOUR ENEMY...
What can be expected from everything that happens to the Cuban people due to the causes generated by the blockade?
The state has all the forces and means to control price caps, so why does it continue to go unpunished for those who violate them? Everywhere you go, prices for the same product are different. It's been years of the same thing with no results. They laugh at the inspection bodies when they turn their backs, some inspectors who pocket the bribes, and the corrupt officials who don't keep them in check.
many reasons
A little rope per ration book so we can protect ourselves. The abuse starts now. Upload the public truth.
Arla, you are afraid, it's not true, it hadn't been sent before
A little rope per ration book so we can protect ourselves. The abuse starts now. Share the truth and publish it. Aren't you afraid?
A little rope per ration book so we can protect ourselves. The abuse starts now.
that.is.abuse.and.shamelessness
How is it possible that there's no flour for regulated bread, yet they sell special, regulated bread as if it were something else? No one understands these things. The state is trying to lower prices, yet they themselves are proposing to raise them, for whatever reason. It's one inconsistency after another. Now those who sell bread on the street, which is where the population buys the most because the bakeries produce for them, will sell their bread even more expensively. How long will this situation last?
