This airline maintains a strict protocol to comply with U.S. government regulations regarding travel to the island, so it's essential to understand the conditions before planning your trip.
Who can fly to Cuba from the United States?
Travel to Cuba for tourism purposes is not permitted under U.S. policy. Travel to or from the U.S. is only permitted by one of the 13 authorized categories, including: family visits, religious activities, humanitarian projects, support for the Cuban people, professional research, educational exchanges, and journalistic activities, among others.
If you don't meet any of these requirements, there are only two other ways to travel to Cuba from the U.S.:
- Obtain a special license from the Foreign Assets Control Office (OFAC).
- Being a Cuban citizen returning to his or her country of origin.
If you do not qualify under any of these options, You will not be allowed to travel to Cuba from United States.
Other entry requirements to Cuba
