Packages to Cuba? Correos updates its customers

The Correos de Cuba Group's courier service published a message of interest for those waiting for packages on the island.

In the note distributed through official channels, the Cuban company assures that it “works intensively onuneIt's Sunday to recuperase delays in the operations of receiving, processing, classifying, invoicing and distributing international shipments.” 

The fuel shortage in Cuba is cited as the cause of these delays. However, they point out that they are working to ensure the shipments are delivered to the following provinces:

  • Sagebrush.
  • Guantanamo.
  • Granma, Las Tunas and Camagüey.
  • Havana Center (CCP – Reyna 14).
  • East Havana (CCP- San Miguel del Padrón).

According to the information provided, the remaining shipments will be transported and distributed gradually over the next few days to different Cuban territories, depending on the availability of fuel allocated to the Courier Company. 

Cuban Post customers give their opinion

Several Correos de Cuba customers commented on the EMCI note. Mr. Soler asked, "And when will Holguín arrive?" Similarly, Mr. Romero complained, "We need the Guantánamo shipments to arrive in their municipalities, for example, Baracoa. Mine are experiencing a tremendous delay. They've been in Havana since February 16."

Regarding the delays, another Cuban stated: "The delay is enormous, and the shortages in the packages are also enormous. Not to mention that there's no apology, no replacement. You can't file a lawsuit, and the whole country is lost and behind, and all it sees is justification and more justification."

The business group recalled that la web Correos de Cuba has an application for mobile devices with the Android operating system that can be downloaded to your cell phone from the website. 

Additionally, both the app and the official website allow users to access all digital, telephone, and email communication channels for customer service departments and senior managers at OSDE and the Group's 20 companies.

CUBA POST OFFICE IS ALWAYS A PROBLEM WHEN IT'S NOT BECAUSE OF ONE THING IT'S BECAUSE OF THE OTHER THE PACKAGES ARE LOST THEY OPEN THEM AND TAKE THE THINGS INSIDE AND THROW PAPERS AND THINGS IN THEM THE DELAYS ARE FOR MONTHS I HAVE A PACKAGE HELD IN HAVANA THAT SAYS CLASSIFIED TOWARDS CCP CAMAGUEY AND IT'S NOT FROM CAMAGUEY IT'S FROM LAS TUNAS WITH THE ADDRESS AND TELEPHONE NUMBER OF THE PERSON WHO COLLECTS IT THERE AND NOTHING THEY HAVE CALLED IF THEY CAN'T DO THEIR JOB PLEASE DELEGATE THE RESPONSIBILITY TO SOMEONE ELSE

  2. My package is for Holguin. I sent three packages together: two in my daughter's name and one in my mother's name. My daughter's arrived, but my mother's didn't. I wonder if I sent them all three together. Something's not working right.

  3. My daughter sent a package in March, and it's still in Havana. It's been received and sorted since April 14th, ready for Santiago de Cuba, and it's still stuck, not moving. It's a disgrace.

  4. Shipping packages is the worst thing you can do, nothing is worth doing, the delay is huge and the work is terrible, it would be the last place I would send them, bad experience with them

    I need you to update the shipment tracker. I have a package from February and I don't know anything about it. It just tells me that no shipment was registered with that code.

  6. Hello, I think that Correo de Cuba should provide better guarantees for shipments made from abroad. This gives customers greater confidence.
