Cuban state press reports on a massive fire at the Moa Diesel Power Plant in the eastern province of Holguín.
"Tonight's sirens and the red sky in the city are a consequence of the massive fire currently raging around the Moa Diesel Power Plant," published Caribbean Channel a few hours ago.
According to the report, "a large portion of the northern perimeter of the facility is at risk from the threatening fire." There are also outbreaks of fire on the mountain.
With an investment of over 300 million pesos, the largest in recent years, the Moa Diesel Power Plant was officially inaugurated on February 19, 2015.
According to note of Granma, this plant began to be built in mid-2010 and had “state-of-the-art technology.”
"It has ten motor generators and an installed capacity of 184 megawatts, enabling it to supply electricity primarily to the nickel-producing industries and industrial centers in the territory, while also benefiting the population of the territory, as well as residents of the city of Baracoa and its surrounding areas in the neighboring province of Guantánamo," the aforementioned article states.
FIRES IN CUBA
The new fire has generated concerncupation among Cubans. User Marian Pérez Gómez wrote on Facebook: “For me, none of these recent fires are accidental. They're paying a lot of money from abroad to harm us, and they don't realize that the damage is directly affecting the people, who are already suffering more than they can bear.”
Along the same lines, Dania Taboada Bolívar opined that, "I think these events are deliberate. I say this because of the frequency with which they are happening. We must be alert and think. I believe they are not coincidences."
In recent months, several fires involving electrical system units have been reported in Cuba, such as at the Mariel and Felton power plants. The most high-profile fire was at the Matanzas Supertanker Base, where 14 firefighters died.

This is very good news!!!
I know that it affects all Cubans equally and I agree that it is not so much "coincidental" as it is "causal."
When Fidel Castro decided to make his "Revolution," he didn't even think about the damage his actions were causing.
So BRAVOO!!!!
THIS IS HOW YOU HAVE TO DO IT TO TYRANTS AND DICTATORS!!!
