A weakened frontal system is approaching western Cuba and will cause increased cloudiness and rain this Sunday, Mother's Day, according to forecasts offered by renowned meteorologist José Rubiera and the Cuban Institute of Meteorology (Insmet).

Both forecasts agree that the main event will be rain, especially in the afternoon and evening, which could temporarily generate cooler conditions in the western part of the country.
