The information available includes digital images of documents comprising a total of 95 records of consulates in various Cuban cities, such as Caibarién, Camagüey, Cienfuegos, Guantánamo, Holguín, Havana, Manzanillo, Matanzas, Nuevitas, Pinar del Río, Port-au-Prince, Santa Clara and Santiago de Cuba, covering dates from 1899 to 1918.
Deeds signed by consuls have the same validity as notarial deeds and can be used for legal purposes in Spain, such as in the case of obtaining citizenship through grandchildren law.
