Good news in Florida for reactivating your driver's license without surcharges

Miami-Dade County residents have just a few days to reinstate their suspended driver's licenses without paying any additional fees or surcharges.

This is Operation Green Light, a special program that will run until May 4th and allows for more accessible resolution of suspensions related to fines or pending legal proceedings.

Since April 21, this initiative has offered drivers the opportunity to catch up without the usual financial penalties. It also allows for customized payment plans, making document regularization even easier.

“This campaign eases the burden on many residents who want to comply with their court obligations. During this period, we have waived collection fees to allow more people to resolve their situation,” explained Juan Fernández-Barquín, Miami-Dade County Clerk of Court and Comptroller.
