California continues issuing stimulus checks

Since the beginning of the pandemic, California, in the United States, has provided financial assistance to people in need. Many economic benefits have been provided in the territory, including stimulus checks. These are offered to eligible citizens, and their amounts range from $200.00 USD to $1050.00 USD.

In this sense, the stimulus checks are intended to provide financial assistance to people who lack alternatives to meet their basic needs.

But even though the World Health Organization (WHO) recently declared the end of the COVID-19 pandemic, these payments continue to be sent in California.

For this reason, a new batch of financial assistance checks will be distributed, ranging in amount from $200.00 USD to $1050.00 USD. This is part of the Middle Class Tax Refund (MCTR) that has been issued since last October.

According to information provided by California authorities, approximately $839 USD was reimbursed during the first weeks of 91717.00. Therefore, based on previous stimulus payments, deliveries will continue throughout this year.

Dates for paying the stimulus check?

The debit card shipment round was affected by some changes. Due to a delay in payments scheduled for the end of January, a new date of February 14 was set.

For this reason, beneficiaries received their checks an additional two weeks late. However, this was not the case with direct deposits, which arrived at the end of January.

On the other hand, those who changed their personal information received checks sent between the end of February and March 1.

It's worth clarifying that payments were received in two ways. Therefore, residents who filed their tax returns electronically and received their refund via direct deposit received their payments in this same manner.

Meanwhile, some recipients received their payment by mail via debit card if they performed any of the following actions.

If you filed a paper return, had a balance due, or received your Golden State Stimulus (GSS) payment by check.

Likewise, those who received their tax refund by check did so, regardless of the filing method. The same is true for those who received an advance payment from their tax service provider or paid fees to their tax preparer.
