A stimulus check of up to $500 will be sent out very soon in the United States.

The state of California in the United States of America will provide financial assistance to its residents. This monetary support from the state is part of the Long Beach Pledge program and responds to the California Rehabilitation Act.cuperation. This law aims to assist families with limited financial means. The contribution constitutes an emergency guaranteed payment plan to assist 250 households in central and west Long Beach.

The Guaranteed Income Fund reported that selected families will receive a maximum of $500.00 USD per month over a one-year period. The first payment will arrive next Wednesday, August 16, 2023.

The different payment methods

Residents eligible for this program will have different payment options. Among the options for obtaining funds are bank deposits and the implementation of magnetic cards.

Dollars can also be accessed through the online payment system PayPal and its mobile transfer service Venmo. The city of Long Beach was chosen for having the highest poverty rate in California since the coronavirus outbreak.

Authorities claim that more than half of Long Beach's population is underpaid. The government has estimated that this situation has left residents with a poverty rate of less than 150%.

The application period for the program ended in July of this year, and nearly 2 people registered. The Guaranteed Income Fund is a nonprofit organization and has assisted Californians in need on previous occasions. Recently, this group provided significant financial assistance to 700 households in Compton, with amounts ranging from $800 to $300.00 USD.
