Trump orders wage garnishments, freezing of bank accounts, confiscation of property, and expulsion of those who do not self-deport.

President Donald Trump signed a new executive order that drastically tightens immigration policies in the United States.

The measure provides for the seizure of wages and personal property of undocumented immigrants, as well as immediate deportations of those who refuse to leave the country voluntarily.

The program, officially known as “Project Homecoming,” represents the first federal mass self-deportation plan in the country's history.

As announced, immigrants without legal status will be able to choose to return at government expense, accessing free flights and a financial bonus through the CBP Home app.

"If you don't leave of your own free will, we will remove you as and when we decide," Trump wrote on his official X account. The message was accompanied by a call to migrants to "book your free flight now."

Threat of deportations without warning

The presidential document establishes that those who remain illegally in the United States will be subject to severe measures: from deportation "at the time and in the manner the government determines" to prosecution for immigration offenses, imprisonment, and substantial fines.

But the consequences are not limited to the judicial sphere. The executive order includes garnishment of wages, confiscation of property such as homes and cars, and the freezing of bank accounts and savings.

Operational reinforcement and state propaganda

Implementation of the plan will fall primarily on the Department of Homeland Security, under the direction of Secretary Kristi Noem. Other federal agencies, including those responsible for immigration and tax operations, will also be involved.

Within 60 days, DHS must launch a national information campaign to warn migrants of the available options and the consequences of not leaving the country. In addition, agencies are instructed to mobilize additional personnel, including retired agents and state troops, to intensify raids and removal operations.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio will be responsible for promoting the program internationally, in collaboration with the governments of the countries of origin.

Economic incentives and technology for self-deportation

The CBP Home app will be the backbone of this mechanism. Through it, migrants will be able to manage their departure and receive a bonus upon completing the process. The goal, according to the White House, is to reduce federal spending on forced deportations and lessen the burden on immigration courts.

Trump insists that this policy seeks to correct the effects of the "border chaos" inherited from previous administrations. He accuses Joe Biden's administration of having provoked an "illegal invasion" that has overwhelmed hospitals, schools, and social programs.

The reactions have not been long in coming. Several immigrant rights organizations have denounced the measure as a form of persecution.cucstate and warn of possible civil rights violations.

Meanwhile, the government moves forward with its strategy: pressuring migrants to leave, or ruthlessly applying the full weight of the state apparatus against those who choose to stay.

  1. The mass deportation campaigns were not against criminals and murderers.
Those who voted for Troup and the mass deportation never thought it would affect their family and friends.
Long live Troup and his iron fist.
