Starting April 1, Xetid, the defense information technology company, will offer citizens access to its Certification Authority (ACX) website, facilitating the completion of various procedures online.

Dailyn Bello Díaz, group leader of Xetid's Digital Economy Unit, noted that ACX's official website will provide digital certificates to individuals, allowing them to authenticate securely from their homes.

These electronic certificates, backed by digital signatures approved by the Ministry of the Interior (Minint) at the end of 2023, will validate the identity of users, reported the Cuban News Agency.

Holders of these certificates will be able, for example, to electronically sign personal income tax returns for the National Tax Administration Office.

Additionally, the Ministry of Justice (Minjus) portal will allow users to complete up to 12 procedures online, including requests for birth, marriage, and death certificates, which will be sent directly to their email addresses.

This measure aims to reduce the need to visit Civil Registry offices, which are often overloaded due to high demand. Those interested in using the ACX platform can access it via the following website: https://www.xetid.cu/es/productos/acx

Xetid facilitates document management with digital certificates

The cost of the service will be 88 pesos in national currency (CUP) for a certificate valid for one year, and for 166 CUP for those with a validity of two years, including digital stamps that will be automatically attached to the document.

The process will be carried out through EnZona's identity provider, linked to the Single Citizen Record, which will help prevent errors in users' personal information.

According to information on the Xetid website, its digital certificate service provider, ACX, is based on a multiplatform infrastructure that allows for the registration, recording, searching, and inspection of certificates. Furthermore, they insist that it is certified according to international standards.

  1. We continue dreaming of airplanes, civil registries do not have even 10 percent of the information digitized, there is no good connection, computers are old and do not have protection against blackouts nor are their antiviruses systematically updated, Cubans today do not have the possibility of buying a decent telephone and the generational gap in relation to the use of technologies widens towards an aging population that does not know how to use it, let's put our feet on the ground...

  2. Please do not deceive the people anymore, nothing you invent is reliable and much less efficient, the documents that go to the MINREX, those that are requested in civil registries, the doorbell seals that are sold on the streets at shameful prices, the requests from the people to put them in the famous system that does not work, when they live outside their provinces of origin, everything is a disaster in the digital age in this country and nothing happens, everything becomes bureaucratic and corrupt, so you know, some civil registry officials charge thousands or receive gifts to obtain a certification, it is shameful what is happening.

  3. Everything is very fanciful, at the level of a first world country, but how do I request the certification I want and where do they give this information, or is there an app that can facilitate it, for those of us who do not normally use Enzona, how do we do this, I prefer Transfermovil which through experience has achieved greater reliability because we have to be pigeonholed to a single alternative with the Enzona Provider Xetid, I propose that it be expanded to Transfermóvil as well, which is more useful and so far the one that provides the best security to the Cuban people, regardless of the obstacles that may exist in the digital sphere.

  4. I hope it's not like the other one. I've been waiting for the Ministry of Justice for two years and nothing will happen. Now we'll see the prices and there's no guarantee of delivery.

  5. I hope it works. I've made several requests to the Ministry of Public Health over the past eight months and have yet to receive a response. I share the opinion regarding the municipality of Mayari in Holguín province. I've been waiting six months for a birth certificate. Apparently, they don't have a system, but they don't answer phone calls either. So, the platform may work very well, but with a municipality like Mayarí, we're lost.

  6. I hope it's efficient, unlike the service provided by the young club. They should also find a way to legalize documents through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and not have to wait up to eight months in the provinces for their documents to be returned.

  7. Hello, the response time for providing the requested information is unclear. It's well known that documents requested through the Ministry of Justice's website take months, and I personally have documents that I requested over a year ago and haven't received a response yet. Or will they only process requests after the primary records have been digitized?

  8. Greetings, first of all I will emphasize that the delay in the Civil Registries due to blackouts, or because they do not call the other municipalities to confront, for whatever reason, in my municipality you have to throw away the papers and take them back to put stamps on them, it is crazy, and to legalize it they go for 5 months, what is this, they are going to have to extend the LMD for 5 years, it is crazy, this has to improve, please

  9. If it's like the Ministry of Justice, you request your certifications and if you don't show up at the place, that is, civil registry; among other things, you never get them. Let's hope this platform fulfills its function.

    • Well, if it's real, it's an excellent opportunity. It's crazy. I've been in those procedures for almost two years and I still haven't finished, and with all the volumes and pages, thank you and congratulations.

  10. Well, I see there that it is from the first day that it starts working. Let's hope and it doesn't help much because I went to the civil registry offices and that day they told me it was online. I did it and I'm still waiting. I went to the one who attends there and she told me it was because it hadn't arrived in the system yet. And that was three months ago. I hope that with this now they don't look bad.

  11. I think they should clarify what was said. I agree with a reader: birth and death certificates do not expire, as established in the legal regulation issued by the Ministry of Justice. Furthermore, one is born and dies only once, so they should rectify what was stated in the announcement. I also think they should enable payment through the Transfermovil platform. I hope it works; it would be very useful for our people.

  12. I hope it works well because I legalized my documents on April 17, 2023, and they arrived in January 2024 and they are no longer useful to me because they say they are expired. I don't understand why they are expired if I paid for them.

  13. I hope all this is true so that the disaster with applications in the Civil Registry of any municipality can end once and for all.
I agree that they should allow the use of the Transfermovil platform, which so far is the best I've seen in recent times, with great seriousness and responsibility.
    Thank you

  14. Another invention, I hope it works. I've been at the Boyeros civil registry since 2022 for a death request here in Havana, and the death of a bureaucrat reminds me: I'm going to have to exhume and rebury my mother.

  15. Very poor quality and not at all functional this service. I've been waiting for almost 3 months and still nothing. The times I went to look for them they told me that they do not have the technological support to provide this service and I should make the request in sorry. I don't understand why they promote something that has failed.

  16. The intention is very good and in this way the paperwork is minimized. They should also set up an office where documents can be legalized to decentralize and expedite the process.

  17. Have you ever thought about why there are so many people waiting for documents at the Registries? Well, they simply give you a supposed collection date, you show up on the day and time, but there was no connection, there was no electricity, or you are not yet in the system. I say this with complete certainty because since the 14th of this month I have been visiting the Diez de Octubre registry to collect a marriage certificate, and there is always an excuse for you to go back.
I have many doubts about this new idea.

  19. good afternoon
This certificate is very useful and already exists in countries where digital life is a fact.
I know Spain where they exist: Key and Digital Certificate.
But unlike what is implemented in Cuba, it is FREE, so I really don't know ONLY as an advantage for the person but also for the Administration because it helps combat fraud.
Like almost everything Xecid implements, they want to charge for it.
I think they should think about it and make it free.

    Thank you very much,
    Carlos R Diaz Arenas MSc

  20. Can they be valid internationally without having to go to an embassy to have them legalized? Can I print the certificate and present it directly to any embassy for foreign procedures?

  21. Each certificate has an expiration date. In the case of birth certificates, I don't understand why they have to expire just like the death certificate, if you are born and die only once. Thank you very much.

  22. I have not seen any benefit in reality, if there were more bureaucracies the time would be terrible, if it were fulfilled it would be something good but the reality is not close.
GREETINGS it is good to continue insisting so that it works as programmed

  23. I don't understand the document's validity period. If I obtain a birth certificate this way, it has an expiration date.
Birth certificates issued by Civil Registries do not expire.
    Thank you

  24. Very good news. I hope the widespread corruption in civil registries ends. Every day, we have to pay more for procedures, and everything goes into their pockets.

  25. Why only ENZONA and not also TRANSFERMOVIL? Every time I've tried to apply for ENZONA, I haven't been able to complete the installation. Please rate it. THANK YOU.

  26. Very good idea, many congratulations to that team and success in your new task, I just don't understand why the document will be valid for one or two years and I understood that the birth certificate, for example, no longer expired. Thank you in advance.

  27. I'm asking if those of us who made this request online to the Ministry of Justice in February can we also request it this way and will it arrive without any problems? Please explain the payment for the digital stamps. Thank you.

  28. Hello. Why isn't this digitalization available in other provinces, like Mayarí in Holguín? It's limited in many procedures, and repeatedly requested documents aren't delivered.
